About Nova Acoustics
Based in Newcastle, NSW Nova Acoustics is a specialist acoustics consultancy providing environmental noise assessments across NSW and internationally.
Nova Acoustics is led by Rod Linnett, who has over 35 years' experience in environmental and industrial acoustics, including more than 25 years in consulting practice across Australia, the United Kingdom and international markets spanning Africa, Europe, North America, Central America and Asia. He has managed a vast number of noise and vibration projects and is highly experienced in complex environmental noise modelling and assessment. He has a detailed understanding of the regulatory framework related to acoustic assessment and the built environment Rod is a member of the Australian Acoustical Society (AAS) and the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).
Rod's background combines mechanical engineering, operational industry experience and consulting services, resulting in a practical understanding of both project design and real world noise control requirements.
